My main barrier to playing Dwarf Fortress when I tried it about a year ago, was that it ran waaaaaaay too slow. I like my ascii games to refresh instantly the moment I do something. I guess I'll give Mangband a shot, though. I can't really think of a way they could get real-time to work okay with it, but I won't poo poo the idea before I try it, because that would just be silly. Thanks for the recommendations, though.
If you wanted to, you could avoid using alcohol altogether by just pirating the pro version of daemon tools, since that allows up to 32 drives, I believe. If you don't wanna find it yourself, I could probably upload it for ya.
Also, you can enable/disable individual accounts in pidgin via the accounts tab. (I only press the issue because I find YIM to be such a fucking terrible client)
But yeah, I'm just being an obnoxious holier than thou egotistical asshole bugging you to do things that you're probably too lazy and/or set in your ways to really give a shit about, so feel free to ignore me. And by feel free to ignore me, I mean don't. I has e-crush on you and must chat with you over xfire when you log on (WHY HAVEN'T YOU, BTW?).
