This game is literally the dream come true of every zombie lover among us, whether you know it or not.

Not only that, it's probably going to singlehandedly bring back source modding with the updated engine of fabulosity.

The graphics really are top notch for a source game, as well as the fact that the engine is optimized. Running the game 4x AA 4x AF, max settings, getting 150ish fps constantly, even while being assaulted by zombies.

Game plays like a movie, climaxes, slow points. Zombies spawn unpredictably, bosses are challenging in their own way, and the witch will send chills down your spine.

Get it.

Instructions :

1) Download the files listed above
2) Install CFToolbox
3) Place the .NCF files in your steamapps folder (in the steam directory)
4) Run CFToolbox, under games/media/tools, right click left 4 dead demo, download, resume.
5) Let download finish
6) Extract 3rd download into your steam folder, close steam, run "start SMD.bat"
7) Test the installation of Left 4 Dead
8) If it works, close left 4 dead, place the engine.dll in steamapps\common\left 4 dead demo\bin\ (BACK IT UP FIRST BTW.)
9) done, enjoy playing with your fellow NGayers

It can be made well excuted and fun without being 10000% classless, you're thinking about this wrong, don't be desperate for decent game design, please. Don't sacrifice genre standards.

Well-made games aren't hard to make my dear, you just have to not be dumb, game design is actually really simple.

Also you think TF2 is good so it's already established you have no taste~

I'm gonna have to disagree with you there, kittens.

Video games are purely an entertainment medium, so the most important factor should be if the game actually entertains you.

So L4D is fun. It's perhaps not as atmospheric as I first imagined, but I was entertained. Which is what matters to me most, really.
