Default CA:STELVANIA ECCLAESIAS

This is for hard mode.

Monastary Boss: Athroverta "The Creepy Face Crab"

Easy boss, smack him in the face with dual Confodore rotations, backdash his really slow claw attack and his web attack, if need be you can block the webs with a wave of Ascias. Magnes onto the magnets when he curls up into a ball.

Prison Island Boss: Giant Skeleton "The Pussy Skeleton"

Ridiculously easy, this boss isn't even on boss rush. Jump continually and bash him in the face with Macir, backup until you start to get too close to the wall, and Magnes jump over him. He'll flip around and start moving faster towards you, don't attack when you're behind him just magnes jump back to in front of him once he's backed off and continue smacking him in the face until he dies. If you can't get a medal on this boss you suck.

Lighthouse boss: Brachurya "The Elevator Crab"

Tedious but easy boss. When he clicks his big claw, duck down on the bottom left platform, and it totally misses. when he shoots bubbles, walk to the other side of the shaft. Either hurl Ascia at him for a slow but safe kill or be impatient and crouch and bash him with Macir on the aforementioned lower left platform. When he does the turning red animation the lower left platform is not safe, watch out. For getting him to smash the ceiling, stand to the far left on the upper platform until he finishes his second smash, then run to the center to bait his third smash out there. Get him to smash the left two more times and it breaks.

the second and third stages aren't much different, to dodge bubbles just magnes onto the magnet and push yourself to the right, don't let go of magnes until the bubbles are gone. Smack him in the face with the elevator and get an easy medal.

Skeleton Den Boss: Maneater "The Giant Skull"
He'll spit little red skulls that will bounce around, don't let too many of these acumulate, destroying them is priority 1, even if you need to switch to a more accurate weapon to do so. Use Luminatio as close to him as is safe and spam it, try not to let any of the wierd tentacles aim at you at any time, and don't ever be directly below him for prolonged periods. If the tentacles stop moving, he's about to either smash the ground or shoot waves out of the tentacles. Overall not too hard, just don't let the red skulls accumulate and you're good.

Reef Boss: Rusalka "The Water Lady"

Finally the bosses start to get fairly tricky. Dual Confodores is the weapon of choice, hands down. stand right next to her and you'll be inside the range of her hair lash, and free to rotate the confodores on her face. Dodging Maelstrom and the giant pillars from the ceiling is somewhat self-explanatory, so I'm not bothering with that. With you standing so close to her she won't even bother hair lashing you but she will try to back up to get in range, stay in her face. Also she'll occasionally reach backwards and splash water at you, backdash this and it misses, and then get right back in her face.

Giant's Dwelling Boss: Goliath "The Giant Zombie"

Easy slut, dual Confodores here again. stand right next to him and rotate confodores on him, if he starts winding up, get out of there, if he prepares to jump, don't move and let him jump over you, and then resume rotating on him once the shock wave dissipates. when he bashes the ceiling, you can either move around and dodge the wood or you can easily just turn on Scutum and it will absorb all of it with no effort. Don't get too far away from Goliath, it's not good if you don't know what he's doing. He'll sometimes crouch down, and cradle his head in his hands, if he does so back off and throw Ascias at him, if you get close he grabs you.

Oblivion Ridge Boss: Gravedorcus "The Sand Fish"

Dual Vol Grando is the weapon of choice here, and positioning is key. Don't ever stand on the stone pillars, it's always a bad idea. Take free shots where you can get them, it's easy to snipe with Grando. When he surfaces and spits those wierd little balls at you, rotate Grando on him, but space out your usage so that none of them can slip through the Grando spikes. If you were able to get close enough so that the Grando hits him as well as blocking his attack, great, if not, don't worry. When he prepares to smash a stone pillar away from you, open up on him until you're out of mana and then do a Grando crush, if he's aiming towards you, take a few free shots then run, the stone fragments fly a long ways. Once all three pillars are smashed, the next time he surfaces he'll surface at one side and then dive at you. When this is about to happen, run away from him until you bare see the wall of the stage appear, and then stop and crouch. When he dives, slide away so he doesn't crush you, and then open up on him while he's dazed from butting his head into the wall. After this, the pillars will reappear, and it will start again. Be patient, and he's quite easy.

Mysterious Manor Boss: Albus "The Crazy Dude with a Gun"

Okay Albus is a slut in hard mode, with three new shots mimicing the Grando Ignis and Fulgur glyphs, which make it very hard to find an opening on him. Also when he channels Acerbatus, and you run behind him, he is suddenly smart enough to turn around and smack you in the face with it. The easiest openings you get on him are twofold. When he laughs maniacially, and when he does a vertical flame kick. Basically you'll want to run towards him and jump over his shots a lot, stand on top of him to get him to do a vertical flame kick and backdash at the last second, jump above him to get him to do vertical flame kicks, bait them as hard as you can. When you do get him to do the kick, stand next to where he's about to land and open up on him with dual Confodores, you should get a few seconds of free damage when you successfully bait a kick. Play it way more defencively than normal mode permits and he'll go down.

Ecclesia Boss: Barlowe "The Old Fucker"

BARLOWE GETS HIS OWN POST.

Barlowe is a fucking giant piece of slut, okay. He is so much harder in hard mode, it's not funny. All his moves are vastly improved except for Globus. Ascias are probably your best bet, since they let you stay on the ground and it makes it easier to steal a Globus for extra hearts. Use only as many crushes as to keep your hearts below maximum so when you do steal a Globus, the hearts aren't wasted. When he enters his second phase, go nuts on the crushes and bring him down asap, his second phase is ridiculous. Also like Albus his hitbox doesn't damage you since he's a Hume.

Dodging Globus: Run to the opposite wall that he fired them from, time it and double jump, the Globus' will hit the lower wall somewhere and miss. Stay on that side until they dissipate.

Dodging Fireballs: Compared to normal mode, he fires twice as many fireballs in the same amount of time, ten in total. Dodging them is really tough. If you see it coming, run in front of him, and double jump just as the first one shoots. Land and run straight towards and under him, if you run straight you'll stay barely ahead of the fireballs, and you hold off your jump until the tenth one. If you get caught by surprise, try to be in front of him even a little bit when he starts firing. Run behind him and you need to double jump. Time it properly and you'll slip between two fireballs, once you hit the ground, duck immediately and slide back towards him.

Dodging Elecritcity Sphere: In hard mode, he does a second pass during this move, so it lasts twice as long. Run to the closest wall, he won't move in that direction first. Time it properly and double jump, he'll smash somewhere into the lower wall. Once you hit the ground, duck, he'll come back and hit the middle wall. Once I have been hit ducking on his second pass, so occasionally by some wierd motion, he flies a lot lower, on his second pass. I've been completely unable to predict this so I stick with the above plan. He does fairly often fly a lot lower on his first pass though, so jump over that, but you don't have enough time to get that high again for his second pass before he hits the wall, so if you try to jump both you'll get smacked in the face.

Dodging Glacias: Oh gods. In normal mode, you can double jump over the duration of the frozen floor easily, in hard mode, it lasts twice as long, so double jumping over it is out of the question. However it is still possible to dodge this, albeit extremely difficult. before the floor freezes, jump. Now, you need to jump a second time as soon as one of Chanoix's legs touches the floor, this will count as a regular jump, that you can double jump from. Be warned if both of Chanoix's legs touch the floor, you get frozen, the window is only a few frames, significantly less than a half a second. If you successfully dodge Glacias he'll immediately chain a Globus from the floor, so be ready to absorb that.

Dodging fire punches: He starts this in his second phase, and it is a huge slut too, they come twice as fast, so if you get hit by one, he horizontally juggles you until he finishes the combo, if you get hit early you're instantly dead. When he shouts "Die Chanoix!" be ready, and watch which direction he comes from. Run the opposite direction and short hop over the punches. Reverse direction as soon as he fades and continue doing so until he ends the attack. Remember that Barlow's hitbox doesn't damage you itself, only the fire punch does. Also don't jump too high, you'll lose too much vertical control and get nailed by his next punch. Also recover frames from landing a high jump will fuck you.

Blow all your crushes and go crazy on the damage once he enters his second phase, and you shouldn't have to dodge more than two fire punches, GL~

Dracula's Castle bosses:

Blackmore:

Two things are different with Blackmore in hard. One is that he starts out in his second phase and two of his moves are harder. Nitesco and Vol Luminatio are both good glyphs for him, Nitesco being more damaging but easier to die while using.

He has a couple punches, jump over these, easy, he has a beam attack that is the same deal, jump. The Punch Jab Punch combo he used only in his second phase in normal he uses all the time, and it chains it twice, so jump over the punch, duck the jab, jump over the punch, and then do it again. Also when he spits meteors he'll sometimes spit two waves, move forward until you're under his maw and you'll dodge that. All in all, most of Blackmore's moves can be dodged by jumping against the left wall except for one of his meteor waves, which as I mentioned are dodged by standing under his maw. While he might seem to be attacking really quickly sometimes, keep in mind he's really only doing one set at a time and then takes a lengthy pause.

Eligor: "The Giant Centaur"

Okay, while he is a giant slut in hard mode, I found a better way of dealing with him. YOU WILL NEED FOLLOWING ITEMS FOR THIS STRATEGY

Redire
Lapiste
Devil Ring
Death Ring

So equip the devil/death rings and go nuts on his knees with Lapiste, ignore the arrow shooter. You should be able to zerg down the knees before he can fire arrows at you with this gear on. Once his knees are down switch to double Redire, and get magnes out. Eligor will kneel down, and then rear up in the air, normally you'd go under him, but we're not doing that. Move a little closer, about where his feet would smash down if you waited, and wait about a second. Turn around, activate Magnes, and fire a single Redire. Wait until the Redire starts angling upwards, and release Magnes. You should launch straight upwards, double jump and turn around. Fire another Redire and ride it a little bit. With a little practice, you can land directly on his back. Now, the problem with this is that both crossbows are still alive and well, and will make this a very dangerous place to be. So immediately switch out to Dominus Hatred, and start firing it at the crossbows. Fire until you can't do it anymore without killing yourself, then follow it up with an Umbra/Lumin crush or two. If you're quick you can kill them before they fire a single arrow, and with low health, Devil Ring will give you a huge damage boost. Go nuts on the back of his head with Lapiste. If you don't have Redire, I'll explain how to do it the longer and harder way.

His first phase is relatively easy, tedious. He'll stab the floor if you're close, or slash the wall and drag it along the floor if you're far away. Either is easily dodged by moving away or towards him, relative to where you were when he targeted. He'll also fire arrows, only this time he'll fire twice as many in the same time frame. Either throw up a Scutum to block these or get a weapon with good coverage (Ironically Redire is great for this as well) and spam it at the arrows. Medusa head familiar level 3 also works great. When his knees go, get under him. Now, unlike normal mode, the back crossbow will still fire at you under him. I really reccomend putting up Scutums in both slots, otherwise it's just really difficult to stay away from his legs and dodge the arrows. Dodge the kick that comes from his front legs by ducking, nothing different there. Once he jumps, get to his other side. It's a similar deal as with his front side when it comes to dealing with the crossbow, Scutum or weapon spam deals with it. He'll also kick you with his back legs, if you duck this, then slide away from him, his foot has a weird hitbox after he kicks. He'll still shoot his tail but it goes way faster, so have moonwalkers if you intend to backdash, or just don't stop moving. Once you're on his back, he's exactly the same, only faster. If he roars, move to his back, if he raises his tail, duck in the middle of him, if he twitches, get to his back, if he starts raising his sword, get to his front. It just takes practice to react fast enough, which is annoying since he takes so long to get to this phase. I still reccomend Lapiste for his back, amazing damage on that thing. Alternately, Melio Ascia would work.

IGNIS WILL NOT WORK.

Death "Daeth?"

Right, I found this far easier playing defencively.
Getting level 3 medusa familiar helps with the sickles, so does the speed glyph, but I prefer medusas. You'll also need Moonwalkers, not optional. So I strongly recommend not attacking while he's hovering around materializing sickles, they are more dangerous than the rest of his attacks. Attack him while he's attacking. On that note, here are his attacks.

Crescent Scythes: He'll materialize 6 wierd scythe things on either side of you, and they'll pause before moving towards you. I understand on normal mode you can slide dash under these, in hard you absolutely cannot. You can dodge this by going Automaton form, but you need very high mana for automaton to absorb this. Barring that, the better and less pussy way is to move to stand next to one of them, turn around, and time a backdash through the scythe using moonwalkers' invulnerability frames.

Rotating energy. He'll summon 3 balls of energy that will rotate outwards in concentric circles. move as far away as you can, and backdash with moonwalkers right before it hits you. Cake.

Sickle storm: He'll reach out and materialize like 30 sickles all in one area. A nitesco crush devastates these and also gets a lot of damage in. Spam Nitesco at him during this move, it's a lot of free damage.

Scythe slash: He'll drop to the ground and move towards you, slashing you once in range. Jump away from him and it won't come close.

for weaponry, again I recommend Nitesco due to the holy element and range, and also it's gr7 for killing sickles and negating sickle storm.

IGNIS WILL NOT WORK

Dracula "The Smasher of Wine Glasses"

Not as hard as I was expecting. For phase 1, it's exactly the same. Turn on Volaticus, fly at head level. Be sure you're moving towards him when he snaps his fingers, his "Anti-air" fire move targets you shortly before he snaps, so you gotta be moving. Get in his face and rotate Confodores on him. When he enters phase 2, keep rotating as fast as you can, you get a lot of free damage in before you have to back up and dodge the kick.

Don't use wings in phase 2. It's important to note that his cape is not part of his hitbox, you can jump over him, and you'll need to. Short hop secares for offence, he doens't have much health in this phase so you don't need to worry about crazy damage. Now, for his moves

Destruction Rain: He'll do this often in combination with his other moves. Be sure to throw up Scutum to block this, because in hard mode it comes twice as fast and you can't backtrack.

Soul Steal: In hard this heals him a lot and almost 1-shots you. When he jumps back/forward, watch his trails. If he leaves a red or blue trail, he's just teleporting to the middle. If he leaves a purple trail, he's soul stealing. Jump over this at all costs, towards the center of the room works better than away.

He has one of two moves with he opens his cape up, when he starts the animation, immediately backdash to the back wall so you can asses what's coming your way, it will be either Dogs or Bats.

Bats: Turn on Scutum and Melio Scutum immediately, and stand relatively close to him. This will absorb the bats.
Dogs: Backdash to the wall, crouch and slash the dogs as they come. BE WARNED. He often chains Destruction Rain or Soul Steal while dogs are still alive. If rain comes, slash them with a scutum active, if soul steal comes, you gotta jump, and if you're desperate I'd reserve an Umbra/Lumin crush for these situations to clear the dogs out.

Also don't be terrible like me and kill yourself with Dominus instead of finishing him off with a Dominus crush.

If you get a Dracula medal it will spawn next to his room when you next load~

I disagree with blackmore, use ignis each time you use ignis you fire 3 balls each ball does 30 damage at level 30 if you use the magic booster r spell it goes up to 36 now Nitesco also deals 30 damage however it deals it at about 2 persecond. so lets do some math if you double both of them Nitesco will deal about 144 per second however ignis will deal 216 and ignis can be cast 4 times in the air before you touch the ground compared to nitesco's 2 if you cast all 4 times that 12 balls all dealing 36 damage or 432 damage per jump.

Nitesco has longer range. Besides your light skill should be at least 2k compared to fire's what? 400?

Are you really going to hit Blackmore with all three at max range? Besides, Ignis fireballs don't actually deal damage once they start turning transparent, the range is shorter than it appears to be.

Either way Blackmore is a giant pussy, so w/e

I allways hit him with all 3. they can still deal damange until they turn transparent. However my point is if ignis deals slightly less damage per 1 fire ball hitting with all 3 deal that much more damage.

Eligor Added.

Death Added.

Dracula Added.

I'll be starting hard mode level 1 soon, I'm very afraid. I accidentally forgot to get the Maneater and Albus medals, so I'll have to get all of them on my hard mode level 1 run. Kind of a shame too, they weren't even necessarily that hard.

also Dominus + Arma Custos + Death/Devil ring is incred combo.
