Default Spirit Iris - General Feedback

Not sure where to post it. Move it, if necessary.

-Game Menu. Simple and tells me what kind of game I gonna play. Simple music gives strong impact of quest game. Black screen with cool game logo, I liked it. However it could use some kind of silhouette on background or simple movements, this could make menu more interesting. Menu music is long and simple enough, could be looped or repeat.

-1st play / play through. Pretty confusing, story line doesn't help much (maybe my English is bad). I've had no idea what I suppose to do and where to go. Map or minimap on hud, would safe me lots of time where to go and what to do.
I think it's too dark. Maybe it's part of gameplay/storyline, but would be cool to have fade out vision as further it goes from player. So you can see things little bit ahead of you. At 1st game I failed to complete game, got killed by monsters in spirit form. On 2nd try I got used to fighting system and could dominate spirit world, however I had no idea how to enter code on the door (I could press only "enter" key to input code). I think I found all notes and talked to "spirit" in forum room, still nothing helps me to open the door.

-Gameplay. I found it pretty interesting to have 2 realities. Prey came to my head to compare. Perhaps, if meatspace is supposed to be safe (only walking / quest), than it doesn't need weapons. And when you switch to "spirit world" the weapon/battle stuff/combat magic shall appear in players hands. It would make clearer, what you suppose to do in each worlds.
Notes is a interesting key in puzzle. I might be wrong here, since I didn't quite understand gameplay as whole. But yeah, looking for notes and finding keys for puzzle through it, is definitely good idea. I like it.
Battle is quite unique. After killing your enemies you can use them to help you. Looks like game punishing you for "going rambo", since I find it pretty difficult to handle 2 enemies at the time. Also, I think summoned creatures should be weaker than original ones, it has to do something with balance issues.
Having range weapon (bow/magic), from start would provide players with better game experience and add more combat tactics.

Spirit Iris is unique game, I enjoyed it. I wish you find time to improve game little by little and I hope you get more feedback from other players and learn something new, from making game, Spirit Iris. Thanks.
