The graphics really are top notch for a source game, as well as the fact that the engine is optimized. Running the game 4x AA 4x AF, max settings, getting 150ish fps constantly, even while being assaulted by zombies.
Game plays like a movie, climaxes, slow points. Zombies spawn unpredictably, bosses are challenging in their own way, and the witch will send chills down your spine.

Instructions :
1) Download the files listed above
2) Install CFToolbox
3) Place the .NCF files in your steamapps folder (in the steam directory)
4) Run CFToolbox, under games/media/tools, right click left 4 dead demo, download, resume.
5) Let download finish
6) Extract 3rd download into your steam folder, close steam, run "start SMD.bat"
7) Test the installation of Left 4 Dead
8) If it works, close left 4 dead, place the engine.dll in steamapps\common\left 4 dead demo\bin\ (BACK IT UP FIRST BTW.)
