Well last week you got a sneak peek as to what this week’s song would be and now I have finished it (though I may return to it at some point)

you can hear the original song over at Youtube (embedding was disabled for this song)
as well as listen to an interesting cover by Masaki Endoh
Now normally I do a new song every week, however this week I’m going camping so I did not have time to finish my newest remix, I will however give you a sneak peak since I’m sure some of you want something to hold you over. This is the opening section of the song and the only part I worked on at all so far (besides the lead which is not present in this clip)

This initially started as a Gabba song (as its apm is 170) but I didn’t think the melody fit with a Gabba song so I switched it to Trance and went from there.

Also as you have noticed I’ve been posting less and less, this is due to less time for compositions, however I will try to keep it to 1 a week. This song is unfinished but, finished enough to give an idea of what it will sound like in the end.
So normally I do techno or trance or something at the very least electronic sounding. But not today, this time I have a guitar track for all of you to listen to. I did this while thinking about a “home” theme or something like that, that you would hear in an rpg of some sort. anyway I hope you enjoy it. Oh and I did this spur of the moment so it is kinda rough.

As some of you may or may not know (depending on whether you read my about page) I currently attend R.I.T university, the classes at R.I.T have recently (as of Monday the 7th) reconvened. As such my musical updates will probably slow down to weekend submissions. In the meantime while we wait for my next update you can leave a comment or two based on what you would like to hear, this can be a type of music to even a song request.
A couple of days ago I heard a club song which had a pretty interesting melody but I have no idea what the song was called. So I simply recreated it from memory

Its pretty similar, the bassline and drum loops are just presets I droped in to give the melody a little life, but this makes the song sound more trancy then clubby like the original version well either way enjoy.
This is a follow up from my samples piece, I got rid of those annoying orc hits as I found them to be rather annoying. So I made a mini-lead/arp to layer on top of the normal arp. I think its coming along nicely though, it still isn’t finished.

I got a bunch of new samples today for Fruity Loops, so you all should hear different drum patterns and different synths in use. I got a whole bunch so I’m going to attempt to stay away from my one or two favorite synths or so.
Anyway here is a current work in progress of what I’ve been making for the past hour or so.

Personally I hate the hits, so I will probably change them
